2 Days Till Day S

With only 2 days left and still so much to do, we are eagerly preparing for our trip. Handing in documents, packing and buying a few last minute items, these are our main tasks for our last couple of days in Canada. To add to our already existing pressure, our families are constantly worrying about us, making sure that we packed the right things, that we have at least 5 copies of every single document, that we pay attention to our surroundings once we get there, and so on and so forth... It almost seems like they were the ones making this trip!

Everyone in our class is in a frenzy. I can understand since as our departure day is fast approaching, our excitement is also growing. But as our excitement grows, our worries grow as well. We spend these last few days preparing ourselves for the unknown, wondering what kind of adventures and dangers are waiting around the corner. People are running around, hearts fluttering, rushing to get their documents handed in. The clicking sounds of fingers running across keyboards can be heard in the entire room. Eyes constantly glancing at the clock, waiting for the hand to move faster, wishing time could go faster.

Our teacher is also running around the class, making sure everyone is preparing for their trips, him too worrying about our safety and what not. He handed in a bunch of documents to fill out, hoping that it would help us prepare for the moment we have all been waiting 5 years for. And under his watchful eye, we type, and type, and type, and type...

As for me and Charline, we are working hard, pulling all-nighters, keeping in mind that Day S is fast approaching.

I'll keep you all updated soon,
-Kathy
