With only 24 hours left before our departure, we listen carefully to the securities directive from our teachers and principals. All we have left to do is finalize our luggage and rest (yes, because we have been awfully busy lately, let's say sleep wasn't our priority...). We cannot under-estimate the time it will take to make our luggage as it can take a few hours. My biggest worry is forgetting something totally essential. We have to get a good-night sleep, as hard as it will be with our excitement, because a long travel journey is ahead of us. Every student of our class, whom are all leaving all around the world, are extremely tired, but not nearly as excited as they are. As our last day at school, even if we don't have any classes, it is time to say goodbye to our friends. With our departure approaching by the second, our parents are trying to please us with some of our favorite meal as we won't be able to eat them for quiet a while.
After working extremely hard over the past 5 years, it's hard to believe that in a little less than 24 hours we are finally leaving for the adventure we've long waited for. A part of me still won't believe we're already leaving for Africa even in the plane! The adventure we are about to go on, will not be forgotten any time soon.
